Series promoter WC Vision announced Monday that the Pirelli World Challenge St. Petersburg GT/GT-A/GTS race that was canceled due to poor weather will be made up during the series’ final 2014 race weekend at Miller Motorsports Park in Utah, Sept. 12-13.
“We look forward to putting on an even bigger show for fans in the Salt Lake City area. The finale race weekend for our 25th anniversary season will be that much more exciting,” said Scott Bove, president and CEO, WC Vision.
“We are very happy to add an additional race for the Pirelli World Challenge during the Utah Grand Prix weekend. We were looking forward to having them back for the first time in two years, and now we have even more to look forward to,” said John Larson, General Manager, Miller Performance USA, which oversees Miller Motorsports Park.
Sunday’s Pirelli World Challenge race on the streets of Long Beach airs next Sunday, April 20, on NBCSN at 5:30 p.m. ET.
