On the heels of its surprise overall victory in the Petit Le Mans season finale, the Porsche North America works squad has confirmed it will again field two 911 RSR at all rounds of the 2016 WeatherTech SportsCar Championship, starting with the Rolex 24 at Daytona on Jan. 30-31.

In the 2014 TUDOR United SportsCar Championship, Porsche claimed all three GT titles for the first time. Scoring overall victory at Petit Le Mans, the first in the history of this championship for a GT vehicle against significantly more powerful and lighter sports prototypes, the German manufacturer succeeded in its title defense at Road Atlanta.
