Platinum Cup Standouts Green, Morad Share Holiday Memories

Ultra 94 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Canada by Michelin standouts Chris Green and Daniel Morad shared memories of their favorite Christmas gifts.

Green, from Montreal, won the 2015 Platinum Cup championship in a Pfaff Motorsports entry. Morad, from Thornhill, Ontario, finished second in the standings as a rookie in an Alegra/Porsche Centre Oakville Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car.

CHRIS GREEN: “My favorite gift I ever received was my very first kart. Predictable? Yes! I had just turned 9. It changed my life as a child and led the way to what I do today. I love racing as much now as I did then, but becoming a race driver and living my childhood dream is something that I will carry with me forever.”

DANIEL MORAD: “The best Christmas gift that I have ever received was my first painted racing helmet. I got it in 2001 and used it in Daytona for the first time at a World Karting Association (WKA) race. That design has actually stayed with me ever since, which is pretty awesome! More than anything, Christmas is all about family and spending time with the people you care about most. Merry Christmas to everyone! See you in 2016!”
