The Verizon IndyCar Series returned to oval racing at Iowa on Sunday afternoon, and the audience was down only slightly from its Saturday night run there last year. This year’s race scored an 0.37 rating and averaged 534,000 viewers on NBCSN, compared with 541,000 in 2015.

After a fast start on NBC at Daytona, NASCAR Sprint Cup racing’s first race on NBCSN was down slightly over last year. The Kentucky race Saturday night scored a 1.9 rating and 3.2 million viewers, compared with a 2.0/3.2m audience in 2015.

The NASCAR Xfinity Series race from Kentucky on Friday night averaged 995,000 viewers.

Formula 1‘s British Grand Prix aired live on CNBC, but again fared better on its NBCSN replay later in the day, where it scored a 0.23 rating and averaged 394,000 viewers.

IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar racing from CTMP averaged 151,000 viewers for Sunday’s live telecast on FOX Sports 1.

NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing again had live coverage of Sunday’s eliminations from Joliet on FS1, and scored an 0.33 rating and averaged 500,000 viewers.
