Newly formed DEForce announced plans Wednesday to field a three-car team in the 2017 Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship powered by Mazda.

The team will be run by David Martinez, who competed in the Champ Car Series/IndyCar Series from 2006-08 and is a partner in Speed Group, and Ernesto Martinez, who in 2006 started Falcone GP, which participates across the racing ladder in Mexico, including karting, open wheel racing and touring cars, as well as being a driver development program in Mexico.

“Our past experience is helping us make wiser decisions as we understand that the result will come from a collective effort, we are working hard on getting the best people in our project,” David Martinez said. “We´re really looking forward to get everything started.”
