Stefan Wilson has conceded that he is unlikely to find a place on the grid for next month’s Indianapolis 500. The Briton made the announcement via Twitter on Friday afternoon.
Wilson had been working towards securing a ride for what would have been his third attempt at the 500, following on from his debut with KVSH in 2016 and return last year with Andretti Autosport, when he finished 15th.
The news follows a similar announcement by compatriot Jay Howard earlier this week.
